As the November winds sweep in and blow and twirl the leaves from the trees all along the streets, Meadow Boutique receives 8 boxes of new arrivals. I know, because I was there unpacking them. It was election day, and people were of course home, glued to their TV’s. Perfect day for me to get everything unpacked, priced, steamed and hung up so you can have a good long look when you decide to come up for air. The colors inside Meadow are the same as the leaves outside! Gorgeous! If you can’t find something to wear for this season then you haven’t looked hard enough. It will take you at least 3 times around the boutique to see all the beautiful sweaters, tops, jackets, scarves, hats and everything in between. You will have to go through every rack and slowly touch each piece to see everything we have right now. Don’t worry we don’t care how long you take. We are always happy to see your smiling eyes. I didn’t think all of the pieces would fit on the racks, but to my surprise they magically did! Oh joy, Oh rapture I am in what we call “Fashion Heaven” and thats a fun, yet dangerous place to be, given my shopping history.
Now what do we have that will tickle your fancy? Oh my goodness, well you can see below for yourselves. I am so impressed by Shelley’s choices. She certainly is up on all the trends. The beauty of our inventory is that any age can wear what is in style right now. It’s all fun filled with luscious fabrics, soft to the touch. We need to feel comfortable in our own skin, right? Then why not have this clothing right up next to your lovely bodies? It also does not matter if you are a small, medium or large. We can’t tell you how many times we have heard that you have 15 pounds of COVID on your body. Who cares, this too shall pass and you might as well look good in the meantime. We are all in this together!
Sometimes we may see something on a hanger and not really feel it will look good on us, but we think it’s a nice piece. Think again….. I have NEVER seen fashion that looks better on a hanger than it does on a beautiful body. So I say try it, what do you have to lose? I bring this to your attention because it has happened to me. Voila, I finally am willing to try something on and I am ready to sign autographs like a movie star! You can feel that way too when you find the perfect piece and you will, I know you will. If for some strange reason you can’t, please, please, please ask for our help. We are well versed in putting things together. I was a personal shopper and visual merchandiser for Nordstrom in my other life and Shelley, well, she has had Meadow Boutique under her wing for 11 years. You need jeans? She is the “Jean Queen,”and that is only one of her many talents in fashion. Just look at the choices you have to pick from every week. Yep, that’s all Shelley! Seasonal goods are here as well. We think that all good cheer should maybe start a little early this year. We have started receiving a wide assortment of candles, holiday tea towels, cards, ornaments and small little gift items to take to any social distanced gathering around the holidays, or to bring joy to those who are near and dear to your heart. This year especially, receiving a gift is meaning so much more than ever before.
We just want you to know that you are in good hands at Meadow! So come on in and let us take you away from all the hustle & bustle of COVID, elections, life, work, kids and all that is happening in the world, albeit for a small amount of time. We enjoy your company, we enjoy your support. You make it all worthwhile for us. Truly! We are so grateful we have each other! At this very moment, that seems to be something we can all hold onto……..so hold tight because the rest of the year is a very short ride ahead and we are almost to the other side. The year of 2021 is close at hand. Can I get an AMEN?
