Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service for our country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle. In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We spend time remembering those who lost their lives and could not come home, reflecting on their service and why we have the luxury and freedom that we enjoy today. We might consider how we can support and safeguard their grieving families and loved ones who are left behind. We are grateful to all the service men and women who helped keep us safe and we honor any of your family members that served!

Meadow Boutique has a few new arrivals this week to help you celebrate how ever you chose on this holiday weekend. We have some fashion pieces that are perfect for any indoor or outdoor activity you may be invited to attend, with social distancing of course. Some lovely jumpsuits that can be paired with a light sweater if it cools off or a scarf to take your outfit to the next level of sassy. We have some shorter length dresses, one with a fun tapered bottom and the other in a babydoll style, along with some black drawstring pants that will go with anything. We finally received our dark and light wash, button fly, Nature Jeans. We are ecstatic - so please get them before the sizes run low. A couple of pairs of sandals flew in the door finally, as we have been waiting for them, oh so patiently. We received more masks in some delightful colors and some scrunchies as well. Who knew that masks would turn into a fashion statement. Not to rush you or anything, but supplies are limited, so jump on anything that you see on this blog that will make you feel special this weekend.
