It is 90 degrees today. I am standing at the counter of Meadow Boutique, wondering if anyone will stop in today in need of Summer clothes. We don’t have air conditioning at the boutique but the fans are roaring in full force and the door is closed. The rack of sale dresses are outside the door waiting for customers to come by and get one heck of a deal! In the meantime, it’s still Summer and hot as can be. I wished for the weather to be sunny and warm. I guess I should be careful what I wish for, right? It’s crazy that it is already the end of July and we are heading into August. Luckily, our Summer goes right into September. We are still getting in Summer merchandise, but there are boxes and boxes of Fall in the back room looming….. Get your Summer fashion while you can because the way the weather has been, you are going to need it for a while longer.

I am not going to keep you here reading this blog. You should be outside, or by water soaking up the rays. Take in all the beauty of the Summer and keep it fresh in your mind, because the rain will return at some point and you will want to remember these sunny days.

How’s everyone’s Summer been? We hope you have been enjoying your family, your friends, your weekend trips, your vacations, all of it! The city of Seattle is truly the Emerald City at this time of year. It’s much cooler than many other cities in the country. We have seen lots of visitors coming in to check us out, from all different places. They all share the same sentiment, and that is, Seattle is a beautiful city! It’s not perfect, but for now it is our home.

We all have the opportunity to create our world, our community, our life. We value each and every one of you and are grateful to have you as our customers, no matter the season.
