This is the time of year that we Seattleites revel in the great outdoors. The weather is perfect, and the city buzzes with activities that ignite our passions. This summer, I discovered the hidden gem of the Summer Series at the Amphitheater. How did I miss this before? From July 11th to August 15th, Volunteer Park Trust presents the third annual Summer Series, featuring six fantastic, free shows every Thursday evening from 6:00-8:30 pm. Imagine celebrating all summer long with a picnic, a blanket, and your favorite people, soaking in incredible performances under the open sky. And if you're a foodie, you're in luck—food trucks will be parked at every event. The atmosphere is electric, with a diverse lineup of music that promises something for everyone.
