Summer Styles to Love

Clear skies and sunshine are here to lift our spirits. And as the temperatures climb steadily up, so do our sleeves, exposing more skin to the sun’s rays.

This summer we continue to embrace the high-waisted trend that so many of us love, be it with our amazing Nature and Kan Kan jeans that fit like a glove, or adorable shorts that will make you feel divine. We have linen high waisted shorts in royal blue and black, and these pastel pink numbers that just came in this week.

End of May is just around the corner and for many of us it signals the beginning of summer. And while those of us in Seattle are currently enjoying a bit of rain, the sun will come back out again and we’ll be reaching for those short sleeves and sandals in our wardrobe. But wait, are you ready for summer?

If, like us, you could really use an infusion of fresh finds into your closet, we got just what you need.

Cherry blossom season is upon us and with the pink petals raining down on our streets, putting on a lightweight floral dress or a jumpsuit can make spring seem even more magical.

Spring Wardrobe Staples

Winter may attempt to call itself the most wonderful time of the year, but when the sun feels warm on our face and the daffodils are coming up to bloom, we are all delighted by the arrival of Spring.

Happy International Women’s Day! Today, on March 8th, all around the world women are celebrated. In Italy it is tradition to gift the women in your life - be it your mother, sister or friend - a bouquet of mimosa flowers. Spring Fever

The calendar says it’s already March, even though we are not sure how that happened. The good news is that the majority of gray Seattle days are behind us, and spring is only 20 days away!

Anticipating cherry blossoms, daffodils and a myriad of wildflowers that will pop up around our neighborhood soon, we too have new pieces that are bursting with spring color.

2019 Fashion Trends

Happy Valentine’s Day! How did you spend the day of love? While the world typically treats the fourteenth of February as the day for couples, flowers and chocolates, we love the growing movements that encourage celebrating other kinds of love.

Galentines embraces the bond you have with your girlfriends, designating mid-February for expressing love and appreciation for your closest circle. Let It Snow!

It’s hard to believe the weather. Just a week ago we were steadily heading into the balmy, mild 50s and some of us left the jackets at home. And just a few short days later, we came outside to see the ground covered in white and the temperatures dropping to below 30 degrees. Brrr! It seems winter has a hold on us yet, if the upcoming snowstorm is anything the meteorologists promise.

But despite many establishments closures this week, we have received a new shipment to add to our inventory, which we would love to highlight for you today.

To stay warm in this cold weather, our new sweaters may just become your best friends. Similar to our bestselling Dreamers brand, these sweaters come in two sizes - small/medium and medium/large and feature five beautiful colors. A crewneck is perfect for layering with button downs shirts too. They also feature a textured insert on the sides which adds a sophisticated touch.

We also got a whole selection of floral dresses in stock, mostly in darker tones, with brighter flowers in the print. Layer these with a soft, warm cardigan like in the images below and it will be a perfect outfit.

Happy February! Can you believe that just a month ago we were starting to write 2019 on our checks and in our planners, and now we are into the second month of the year?

We are slowly but surely moving closer to spring, not to mention the holidays coming up that can make the time go by even faster.

Window displays are sporting brighter decorations and the colors pink and yellow are slowly making an appearance. Even some of the cherry trees around the city decided it’s spring time and started blooming early.

Our own window display at Meadow is getting lighter with anticipation of spring. The new merchandise that is now waiting for your perusal on our racks is full of light, airy chiffon, floral prints and thin, soft fabrics that are perfect for warmer weather layering.
