As you read this blog post it will be Valentine’s Day. I am sure you are going to spend your day giving hugs and kisses to all those you love and most certainly a box of chocolates. Feeling loved is the best thing ever and lucky us we have a day like today as a reminder.

At Meadow Boutique we are in LOVE with our new arrivals this week. Dreamers sweaters arrived boasting some great vibrant colors for Spring like Jade, Lilac, Coral, Beige and Royal Blue. Breathtaking! Double Zero tees have been restocked with some great color schemes like midnight blue, pink, beige and white with twists in the front to change it up and add to any outfit. Chris & Carol show off their light weight sweaters and raglan long sleeve t-shirts with florals. You have to see these, seriously. One style is a hoodie, with flowers in all the right places. We are feeling like it’s that In-Between time. You know, when you have one foot in Winter and you’re dreaming of Spring! Today there has been 39 days of rain in a row. Yes, we live in Seattle and that is our typical weather for the season but come on, enough already, right? We are trying very hard not to forget, that this too shall pass and beautiful days are ahead.

We want to see the colors of flowers blooming and trees budding with leaves. All those vivid hues that Nature brings to help us feel alive! Just like you, we are ready! New Year, New Closet

The beginning of the year is a time ripe with promise. Whether you set new year’s resolutions or not, you can’t miss the vibration in the air that is filled with motivation and goal setting. But you don’t need to radically change your life to feel better. However, cleaning out the old and setting in the new is always recommended. We can be like the Italians, who throw our old items from their balconies on New Year’s Day (we can also be more sustainable than that and donate items that don’t bring you joy anymore to a local Goodwill).

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas at Meadow

Our lovely little boutique is ready for the holidays. As soon as you step in you will see green pine trees dusted in snow, ornaments that will bring up lovely childhood memories, candles that smell like a winter forest. The holiday spirit is here!

Seattle has been treating us to some lovely weather recently. Despite the forecasted rain we have come outside to see the leaves changing colors and sun shining down on our faces. These crisp autumn days are so perfect to throw a light sweater on, complement it with a cozy scarf and head out to conquer the day.

Best Colors for Fall

Whether it’s a deep mustard or a lush burgundy, there is something inviting and warm about fall colors. They remind us of what fall is all about - warmth, comfort, storing up our energy for winter and the colder months.
