It’s really been a challenge this year, but we have to end it on a good note. Through all the trials and tribulations, we are still here, we are healthy, our family is in tact, we made it through and we are all here to tell about it, someday, when it feels right. Just think, you now have a mask to match each outfit and “stylish” and “comfy” have become your middle name. Social distancing is now considered the new way to Love. We are slowing down and putting less pressure on ourselves. We are spending more time in Nature. Working from home is now an option. We are finding more time to exercise. We have taken up cooking more vegetarian than meat eating and baking has become our new creative flow. We are donating more to charitable causes, trying harder to reduce our carbon footprint, and engaging in more political activism. It’s important to note that if you don’t emerge from this pandemic with any great new habits, that is absolutely all right. Sometimes surviving is an accomplishment in itself. Let’s take a moment of silence and bow our heads to remember those families who have lost a loved one from this pandemic, may they find peace and love during this time.

This week we have a some versatile sweater dresses that accessories will spruce up quite nicely or a cute pair of boots or shoes that will change the look completely! There is a wide variety of sweaters to put you in the mood for this holly, jolly season. We have some ornaments that will tickle your fancy, with candles and diffusers and little gifty items. You really have to make your way around the store at least 3 times to see all we have on the racks right now. I was able to find exactly what I need and put some outfits together for my upcoming festivities, albeit at my home with my husband. I am going to look good and in turn, somehow it makes me feel good too. It’s the whole package that will have you shedding that old grinch attitude you might have woke up with this morning! Have a laugh, have a cry, the year is almost over!! It's Christmas! You will hear music in the background at Meadow and smell a candle burning to get you in the shopping mood. We are truly grateful to be part of the Queen Anne Community. You enrich our lives everyday. We have been through this year together and with all that is happening in the world, we are grateful to have you!
