It’s April! April Fools, April Showers bring May Flowers, you know all the sayings! Let’s sit on the floor, cross-legged, with our palms up in our laps and think good thoughts. Meditate goodness in our lives and for those around us. There is a war, there is a pandemic, there is a face-slapping (oh my) and then there is Spring in Seattle. Beautiful blooms are gracing our communities, full of life and color. I have been down many neighborhood streets that are lined with stunning pink cherry tree blossoms. The sights of nature around us make me realize there is something greater than myself and for that I am grateful. After seeing the grey skies in Seattle for so long, this is quite a treat. The cherry blossoms remind us that it is Spring, and all that it has to offer can only get better with each passing day.

Wondering Where to go to see the Cherry Blossoms in Seattle?

Seriously, take a drive and see the cherry blossoms. As shown above, there are a variety of places you can view them. I would think twice about going on the weekends. It seems that’s when everyone has the same thought. Walking around under the blossoms makes you feel like you in a fairyland. It makes me want to wear pink! Break out of our usual black, beige and grey and brighten up our lives with some color!

What’s new at Meadow Boutique this week?

Well, a little of this and a little of that! DOUBLE ZERO has lots to bring out this week with t-shirts, crop tops and even a crocheted little number. LOVE TREE has a workout top and bottom that is versatile enough to wear about town after sweating your buns off. HYFVE has a cute little yellow romper, for those who dare. And last but not least, KORI has a beautiful blue & white flowy dress to add to your collection. It’s perfect dressed up and also with a pair of white tennis shoes. I just love that look of dresses with tennis shoes. It just takes dresses up to another level of playfulness. We also have a variety of belts, yes belts. They are very fun and boho-ish! I haven’t worn a belt in a long time, but these make me want to. Pretty soon it will be time to add some colors to those toes again. We have 2 pairs of sandals now, in black and beige - those perfect colors to go with everything. Simple add ons to jeans, dresses and shorts. Yes, this time of year has come again, so we want you to be ready to strut your stuff!

We have to say, it has been delightful to see your beautiful faces with your masks off. For those who have kept their masks on, we respectfully still love seeing the sparkle in your eyes. We are so happy to have you enter the boutique and see all the Spring colors we have right now. You all have been trying on colors, which we love to see! Out with the black, beige and grey, and in with the pinks, purples and yellows. We understand how hard it is to breakaway from the Seattle basic colors, but I am begging you, yep, I said begging you, to at least add one of the bright colored floral pieces we have to offer, and see how you feel. Slowly you will become accustomed to feeling lighter and brighter. And one more thing…….we love you no matter what you decide. xoxoxoxox
