From the words of John Denver; Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy......WE LOVE THIS WEATHER! We wish it would stay longer. Hey, sorry, we need to stay in the moment! We must enjoy every second of the weather being so perfect instead of when it will leave. The days are so bright and beautiful here in Seattle right now. We hope you are out and about enjoying these exquisite days of Summer.

My husband and I went away to the San Juan islands this past weekend. There was Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor, oh my, oh my! Just driving along the coast and stopping to smell the fresh air and feel the wind in my hair. Man, I live for those times. We actually saw some small whales at one of our stops. Breathtaking! Every little place we stopped to eat was wonderful, not sure if it was the food or the fact we could see the harbor and all the boats that made it all taste better. The hike to Heather Lake had panoramic views beyond belief. The lake was big and beautiful and the ducks graced the shores to say hello. The photos I took make me smile and wish I didn’t have to go back to Seattle. When you live in the cement jungle, getting away means so much more. The weather was perfect in the mid 70’s and sunny. My husband and I are close to retirement and times like these make us want to rush the process. Retirement for us will be full of travel and living somewhere besides the USA. On that note - get out there and enjoy your life. You deserve it. You don’t have to go far to take in the beauty of this state.

There you have it….more Fall pieces. Cute dresses that will go from Summer to Fall. Light sweaters and soft tops. Pants in Fall Hues. And yes, Fall will come and you will need cozy pieces again, whether working at home or heading to the office. If you are living in the moment……you can’t quite get to Fall clothes yet. I get it. Just in case you want to grab a few things, they will be here while supplies last! The nights seem to be getting a little cooler…I said a little, which will change on a dime. Hey, but we still have our Summer Sale rack outside too.

Stop by and say hello when you have a chance, bring in your dog for a biscuit, or pick up a gift for a friend or take care of yourself with a gift or two. Whatever the case may be, just know we are here and always happy to see you. After all, without you, we wouldn’t be here. You all have been supportive through the good, the bad and the ugly. Thank you for making us feel like a million bucks every time you enter in to shop. I kept this writing short and sweet this week so you could start your amazingly, incredible day.
