Really, it is September? I can’t believe it. Seems it was just July 5, when the sun started to shine. I love that those rays have continued to keep our Summer going. But now we have Seattle’s Indian Summer. Too warm for Fall clothes and just cool enough for a light sweater in the evening. You can still add a cozy sweater to that favorite dress and give it a whole new look. All the Fall clothes here at Meadow Boutique will be waiting, because you will need them…..eventually.

This is the time of year the events and holidays start happening like Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Yikes! This is when we look at each other and ask where the time has gone. Seems to happen every year and as I get older, the time just goes by faster. I remember the times as a child when we had Summer vacation and those 3 months seemed to last forever. Years seemed to take so long to get through. All the birthdays and holidays couldn’t come soon enough. That’s why living in this very moment is the most important. Taking in every minute is really the best we can do to not miss a thing. The fun part is getting together with our friends and family for all of these events. We are all pretty much leaving our homes now, no more staying in for fear we will get the virus. We are much more careful in so many ways, so let the rest of the year come and let the fun begin. September is here and we all know the beauty it will bring!

There is a new Jewelry line by IOWA CLAY CO, jewelry that is lightweight, hypoallergenic & perfect for everyday wear. You will be happy to know that lots of these pieces are black with some orange thrown in, with some grey's too.

You might want to come in and check out all of the amazing Fall pieces we have right now. I know buying Fall clothes is not on the top of your list when the temps are in the upper 80’s. Just viewing the merchandise will let you know what will be available to you when you are ready. The styles and colors are fun and flirty and warm and cozy with basics and layering and all the in-between. Our back room is oozing Fall wear. We are packed in the back with everything you will need for the coming seasons and little by little you will see them on the racks. You won't be disappointed.

I have been looking in my closet and figuring out how the fashion from Meadow will match up with what I already have. I can always find room for new pieces. Can’t you? So, take an inventory of what you have for Fall and jot down what you need. Come by and see us and we will show you the colors of Fall, even if you aren't quite ready! Before you know it you will be drinking pumpkin lattes and checking out what we have for Fall. We will just wake up one day and Fall will be at our door. I definitely want to be ready and stylish! I know you do too! The days of staying in and working at home in our sweats is over....thank goodness, I was getting a little worried. We are so worth dressing up and going out to strut our stuff and show off who we are. We are happy with who you are and how you show up in the world to support us!
