If you’ve grown weary of summer’s heat waves and ever-constant perspiration, get excited: Sweater weather is around the corner. Yes, we have them….so many sweaters. Cardigans long, cardigans short, cropped, striped, solid, pockets, no pockets. There’s also sweater tanks that are perfect for layering. And we keep getting more, friends, that is where we are headed now. It’s been cool in the morning and in the evening. We are having dream weather, with temps in the 70’s and sunny. This is truly my favorite time of year. Bring on the sweaters, can’t wait for those cozy fabrics and lovely hues. It’s all perfect with that seasonal pumpkin latte.

What is the color scheme of the best fall sweaters? You’re in luck here because there is no right answer for what color a fall sweater consists of. Seriously, you can wear a fall sweater of any color. Typically, we love the more neutral colors – they give me that cozy ensemble, curl up with a glass of hot cocoa and watch old movies kind of vibe. Think grey, a light taupe, white or even black. However, we also love brighter sweaters. Color-block sweaters are great if you’re wanting another cozy sweater option.

What is the best way to wear fall sweaters? So, you can style a fall sweater in literally a million different ways. Therefore, this is great because you can buy sweaters that will work for both fall and winter, depending on the weather outside. You can style your sweater in so many ways. For instance, you can pair an oversized sweater with denim jeans or even pants. You can pair a nicer cashmere sweater with a skirt and leather boots. If the weather is a bit warmer outside, you can even wrap a long-sleeve sweater over your shoulders and pair with cuffed denim and sneakers. One of our favorite ways to wear a button-down sweater is off the shoulder with mom jeans and either mules or chunky sneakers. Or, throw on some leggings, a comfy sweater and just lounge! We heard that Seattle Schools are are strike. So sorry about that. The kids are always so excited to get back to school after the Summer. Most likely, new school clothes have been purchased this past week and they are excited about their new teachers. They can’t wait to see friends again and see which ones might be in their class.
