I think John Denver summed it up in his song he sang in 1971 - Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy - Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry - Sunshine on the water looks so lovely…..Sunshine almost always makes me high - OK I will stop now. LOL

You gotta love this weather, right? Such a beautiful blue sky and warm air swirling around us here in Seattle. Love the warmth, love the sunshine, love the bright colors surrounding me at the desk in Meadow’s Pop-Up. In the grocery store the fruits and vegetables are even looking more colorful. We know we usually don’t have Summer until July 5. We’ll take it - how could we not? I love to see Seattleites smiling and in a good mood. I am going to take a leap here and say it’s because of the warm, sunny weather. Please, just let me believe that. I am tired of grumpy mean people out in the world. When it rains, well, I don’t think its good for us all the time, 8 months to be exact. OK, OK we are focusing on the superb weather at this moment right now and right now is pretty darn good and a bit early for us! I am sure you are looking for your sunglasses you bought last year, stop by and grab a pair at Meadow. They seem to be selling like crazy. Get out there and enjoy this weather while it lasts. June is right around the corner and soon it will be Summer for real!

What’s new this week at Meadow Boutique?

LOVE TREE this week with some cute little dresses, nice flowy pants and a light jacket for those cooler nights on the water. It does seem to cool down in the evenings here for now. The material is a linen blend and tencel also in the mix. SM WARDROBE with a lovely little dress with birds on it - so sweet and a airy top that will pair nicely with jeans or shorts. JODIFL with a flower top full of life and color. ANEMONE in with those great bralettes we have always had in the past and nice little crop tops in distressed looking material. There's some new denim shorts too by BLUE AGE. You better get them while the getting is good - they will sell out fast.

I was thinking the other day of many of you that I haven’t seen since we moved to WINK Hair Studio. If you haven’t stopped by to see us since we moved, please do. I miss seeing some of your smiling faces and warm greetings that you always shared with us. We still have great pieces and new ones every week as you can see by the blog photos. We are still in Queen Anne and we aren’t going anywhere - we will wait til our old space is ready for our return. We hope it’s sooner rather than later. No matter what, we will keep on sharing all of our great fashion with you. You know with a owner/buyer like Shelley, you will have amazing pieces to add to your wardrobe. Colorful, fashionable and unique. It’s time for that Spring/Summer wardrobe update if you haven’t done that yet.
