It's the unofficial start of summer—filled with the promise of sunny skies, warm weather, and a three-day weekend stretching before us. Often, we gather with family and friends on Memorial Day for a backyard barbecue along with red, white, and blue desserts, a patriotic playlist, and maybe some fireworks. Or, we might set out on a weekend road trip or plan a few nights under the stars at a favorite campsite.
But it's important to remember that Memorial Day is about more than burgers and better weather. First and foremost, it is observed in remembrance of those who fought—and died—for our freedom. In their honor, you might fly the American flag or read some famous Memorial Day quotes to help you reflect on their sacrifice. Whatever you have planned for this weekend, make sure you are dressed for it. Dressing cute and comfy so you can participate in any Memorial Weekend activity.

GILLI with jumpsuits and dresses and tanks. PETRA 153 is a new label for us with jeans and a sailor denim style, and crop overalls. DOE & RAE with a stripe short dress, LA MIEL with some flirty shorts in 2 colors and SM WARDROBE with a spicy top with elephants on it.
Love all the new arrivals this week. Lots of jumpsuits and more jeans and really cute, crop overalls, flowy shorts and some new slip-ons, fun tops. So many flirty pieces to bring on the Summer season happening soon. You can’t go wrong with our inventory right now. We just keep getting more fabulous pieces in, even though our space is limited. It sure hasn’t stopped Shelley from ordering new, amazing fashion. Come in and see for yourself. We would love to help you find something to wear this weekend.
We will be taking care of my 15 year old grandson, Logan, this weekend while his parents are in Mexico. We will have fun hanging out and doing what 15 year olds like to do. YIKES! I am sure we will survive it. We plan to barbecue just like most of you this weekend and perhaps fit in a hike. What are you doing this weekend? We here at Meadow, hope your weekend will be memorable and fun and you look like a million bucks. If you shop at Meadow, we know you will! xoxoxox
"Ceremonies are important. But our gratitude has to be more than visits to the troops, and once-a-year Memorial Day ceremonies. We honor the dead best by treating the living well." ~ Jennifer M. Granholm
