Seattle Has Plans

October 2, 2026 Shelley Hall

Meadow Boutique Seattle has plans especially for you!

A coffee that turns into lunch. A quick trip to the market that somehow takes all afternoon. Dinner with friends. A show downtown. A neighborhood walk because the sun decided to make an appearance. Or maybe you leave the house with absolutely no plans at all—and those are sometimes the best days.

And Seattle being Seattle, you need to be ready for all of it.

That’s what we’re loving about the newest pieces at Meadow. They’re comfortable enough for the everyday but interesting enough that comfortable doesn’t mean boring.

Start with the leggings—in rich chocolate and wine—for those days when comfort is non-negotiable. Add the wonderfully cozy chocolate sherpa jacket, and suddenly leggings and a simple top look intentional rather than “I just ran out of the house.”

Or go relaxed with the soft olive joggers and a sweater. They have that easy, lived-in feel we love, but the seaming and shape give them a little more personality than your ordinary sweats.

And then there are the layers—which may be Seattle’s unofficial dress code. The black sweater vest can go over a tee or long sleeve now and under a jacket later. The long black hooded vest is practically made for those in-between days when a coat feels like too much. And that little striped cardigan? Jeans, boots, coffee, done.

For something softer, we love the cream lace-trimmed top. Wear it alone, let a little lace peek out from underneath a cardigan, or pair it with one of those great vests. It's one of those pieces that can quietly change an outfit.

That's really the Meadow way of getting dressed: pieces that work together, clothes you actually live in, and enough personality to make them feel like you. So go get the coffee. Wander a little longer. Say yes to dinner. Buy the theater tickets. Meet the friend you haven't seen in forever. You might as well have something great to wear.

Seattle has plans. And apparently, so does your closet.

Come see what Shelley has brought into Meadow this week. Try on the cozy jacket you didn’t know you needed. Find the leggings that may become the ones you live in. Throw a vest over something you already own. Pick up a sweater simply because it makes you happy.

You don’t need a big occasion or a perfectly planned outfit. Sometimes one new piece is all it takes to make everything else in your closet feel new again. And who knows? You may walk into Meadow just to look and walk out thinking, “Okay…now where am I going in this?”

Seattle has plenty of answers to that question. Come by and see us this weekend. We promise those kinds of plans will be worth it! Let’s greet October with style! xoxoxo
