As I look over the past few blogs, I realize I have given you ways to get out of your weather funk and things you can do for your mom on Mother’s Day. Today, I will let you be you on this blog. What do you need for your wardrobe to start the next warm season? It’s coming, I am certain. I see the glimmer of sun through the clouds and I know Mother Nature will not let us down.

It’s time to start thinking about Summer and the weather we have in the northwest! The bluest sky you’ve ever seen are in Seattle! When I visited my mom this week on the east side, the Rhododendrons were in full bloom all over her neighborhood. The grass was green and the color from all the flowering plants were stunning. “This is why we have all the rain here,” I thought to myself. I guess we sometimes forget what the end result of the weather might be. It kicked in my attitude adjustment pretty quick. What do I care, I was just in Mexico feeling the warmth of the sun and my dose of Vitamin D. So I am hanging in there with anticipation for the next season. I am really hoping not to lose my tan.

The Summer will be here soon and we want you to have the proper clothing to enjoy it. We want you to have the right fashion no matter what season it is! Here at Meadow, we have something for everyone. We have seen customers from little girls, eyes wide open in our girlie jewelry section, all the way up to 92 year olds, for tops that make them feel comfortable while sharing time with their family. There is barely an age limit in Meadow, that’s what I love about working here. We see all ages of people, mostly women all day long. It’s so fun to see many of you over and over again because you know what you will find at Meadow, something reasonably priced, good quality and a variety of fashion.

What’s new this week at Meadow Boutique, you ask?

First off, we HAYDEN coming in with skirts and dresses this week. You have been asking about skirts so now we have some in. One short, one long, one denim!

LES AMIS with a couple of lovely tops in black and white. The black one has some detailed sleeves and the white one is eyelet.

GILLI always comes through with the cutest rompers and jumpsuits, and this week it is a delightful romper. Best for the months ahead when we are footloose and fancy free running around town in some nice, warm weather!

STACCATO with a couple of tops; a striped tee and sleeveless button up top that goes well with our new skirts.

Shelley doesn’t order a dozen of an item. It’s 2 size runs of each piece. Jeans are a different story, we get a full size run with 2 of a few popular sizes. The best thing is, and always will be, is that Meadow gets new items in every week and now you can see what’s in, right here on the blog! So get to it - pick out your favorites and stop in. Try them on, love them and take them home. It’s seriously that simple. Shopping should be easy for you now days. At least, that is how we feel. We had a couple of rough years, and now we are getting back to an easier place in time like what we had before. Let us be part of that with you. We can’t think of anywhere else we would rather be!
